Executive Management

Alok Kuchlous : Chairman and Founder : Alok has more than 10 years of experience in leading EDA companies in senior engineering and management positions. Most recently he was the Director of Engineering at Synopsys, responsible for the VCS-MX and SystemVerilog solutions. Before that he was responsible for debug (acc/vpi/cli), asic (detailed timing implementation), performance (radiant optimizations) at various times. Alok joined VCS when it was a 10 person team, and his contributions were instrumental in the VCS revenue growth from 10 million dollars to 120 million dollars. Before joining VCS, he worked at Cadence in the Verifault group. He has a MS in Computer Engineering from University of Southern California and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.

Raghu Srigiriraju : CEO and Founder : Raghu has more than 10 years of experience leading strong engineering teams. Most recently he was a senior manager with Synopsys, responsible for the VCS engineering team in India. He successfully created a team of very talented and motivated engineers. In a technical capacity, he has made key contributions to the success of VCS by leading efforts in performance, debug etc. He was also responsible for rearchitecting the VCS kernel so that it matched the detailed timing and event behavior of other leading industry simulators. Raghu has a MS in Computer Engineering from University of Massachusets, Amherst and B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.

Shyam Sunder Rao Padala : COO and Founder : Shyam brings in 9 years of experience leading and delivering on complex technologies in his role as a senior member of technical staff at Synopsys. Shyam's technical leadership helped VCS in creating a differentiation against competition and led to multiple wins at customers. He was instrumental in merging cycle based technologies in to the VCS engine and extending the VCS architecture to handle SystemVerilog. He also led the effort that led to phenomenal improvement in the full timing performance in VCS. Shyam has a MS and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
